Castellabate
Part of Unesco World Heritage since 1998, Castellabate is an enchanting medieval village in the Cilento National Park, located on the south side of Gulf of Salerno and in front of Capri Island and Amalfi Coast.
Known as "The Pearl of Cilento", Castellabate is listed as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages of Italy".
The village has been also recently awarded among the "21 Jewels of Italy", a prestigious award given by the Italian Ministry of Tourism.
Charming narrow lanes and amazing terraces look over the coastline of the Gulf of Salerno, awarded with the Blue Flag of Beaches since 2005.
The town hosted the movie set of the highly acclaimed comedy Benvenuti al Sud.
